Ideas for November Cub Scout Pack Meeting – Citizenship The core value for Cub Scouts for the month of November is Citizenship. According to the program helps citizenship is "Contributing service and showing responsibility to local, state, and national communities. Cub Scouts develop good citizenship when they are learning about respecting the flag and providing service to the community."
Memorial Day Yesterday we went out to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery and participated in the 61st annual Memorial Day Good Turn. This event really seems to help our Scouts understand what Memorial Day is all about.
BSA Wolf Den Meeting 1 - Bobcat and Your Flag BSA provides den meeting plans for den leader on the Scouting.org website. Today, I am going to go through the first Wolf plan. This plan covers Bobcat and part of Wolf Achievement 2 - Your Flag. If you don't have any new Cub Scouts in your den, then nobody needs to earn Bobcat, but it doesn't hurt to review the material anyway.
BSA Tiger Den Meeting 6 – Where I Live and How I Tell It This is the sixth in the series of Tiger den meeting plans provide by BSA. If you are using this series, it works best if you do the plans in order. So do the previous meetings before this one. This meeting plan covers part of Tiger Achievement 2 - Where I Live and part of Tiger Achievement 4 - How I Tell It.
The Flag Remembers Christmas You need to highlight the flag during this ceremony. Put a spotlight on it or have two scouts hold it up, or something like that.
Make a Difference to One This can be used as a Cubmaster/Scoutmaster/Advisor Minute or it can be used with adults to encourage more participation in the Committee.
Scouting For Food The featured core value for Cub Scouts for the month of November is citizenship. Our Pack will help encourage citizenship in our Cub Scouts by participating in the local Scouting for Food program.
