The Communicating belt loop and pin are part of the Cub Scout Academics and Sports program. This program gives Cub Scouts the opportunity to receive recognition for exploring different areas of interest.

Webelos who earn the Communicating Belt Loop while a Webelos also complete requirement 15 for the Communicator activity badge.

Communicating PinCommunicating Pin for Cub Scouts  If you have Cub Scouts who like to read, write, and talk, then they might want to check out the Communicating Pin from the Cub Scout Academics and Sports Program. They will have to earn the Communicating belt loop first, and then they can choose five of the requirements from the twelve options for the pin.
