Webelos Showman Activity Badge Den Meeting The Showman activity badge offers a lot of choices, so this is less of a step by step den meeting plan and more a set of suggestions.
Music Belt Loop for Cub Scouts Cub Scouts enjoy singing, especially silly songs. The Music belt loop from the Cub Scout Academics and Sports program can easily be turned into a Pack meeting or Den Meeting. If your Pack is going caroling this time of year, you can also incorporate it that way.
Puppet Play - Holmes and Watson Go To Webelos Camp My Webelos den has been working on their Showman activity badge. For requirement 2, they wrote their own puppet play.

The Fast Food Song The Fast Food Song is fun for Scouts. It is an action song and would fit in well with a nutrition themed meeting.
Twinkie Song A silly song to the tune of "Do a Deer" from The Sound of Music. Could be used to take a break in a den meeting or pack meeting or as part of a campfire program.
911 Song This silly song is a favorite with my boys. Yes, it involves crashing into trees, ambulance rides, blood, and the word cops. But it seems to be the type of song boys enjoy singing. Don't ask me why.
My Turtle Swims Sideways ZM sang this song at Webelos camp and LC sang it at Boy Scout camp and they've continued singing it since. This song is pure boy humor.
Auld Lang Syne Auld Lang Syne is traditionally sung at the end of the old and the very beginning of the new year. "For auld lang syne", loosely translated, means "for old times sake". The song is used to mark endings and new beginnings. For that reason, in the Scouting movement it is sometimes used to close big events, such as jamborees.
Princess Pat Song Here's another song which LC sang at Boy Scout camp and ZM sang at Webelos camp. This silly song actully has some real history behind it. Princess Patricia was a member of the British royal family. A Canadian infantry unit was named in her honor. She designed their regimental colors - a red flag with a purple circle in the center. In the middle were the gold letters VP, which stood for Victoria Patricia. The flag was called a Ric-A-Dam-Do, which means "cloth of your mother" in Gaelic.
Thanksgiving Song Here is a silly song for the Cub Scouts to sing on Thanksgiving. Use this for any of the Cub Scout music requirements
The Milk Song This is a fun song for a campfire or for some audience participation at a Pack meeting. Plus it encourages healthy eating habits!
Bazooka Bubblegum Song This is one of DS's favorite scout songs. We hear this one a lot at camp, on hikes, and on hayrides. I'll warn you that when they start singing this, they tend to sing it over and over and over again. The best I can describe the tune is that it is sort of a rap style tune.
Trustworthy Tommy Song Trustworthy Tommy is a song to help Webelos and new Boy Scouts learn the Scout Law. Webelos need to memorize the law to earn the Arrow of Light. New Boy Scouts must memorize it for the Tenderfoot rank. Some boys who have trouble with rote memorization will find that learning the song helps it stick with them. Eventually they should be able to say the Scout Law without the song going through their heads.
Announcements Song The Announcements Song will add some laughs to the dry business parts of your meetings. Sing "Announcements, announcements, announcements" followed by one of the verses and then do an announcement. Sing it again and then do another announcement.
Trustworthy Tommy Song Webelos need to learn about the Scout Law for their Webelos badge and their Arrow of Light Award. This classic Scout song is a fun way to help them learn it.
The Twelve Days of Camping Song Heres another silly song for you. This works well at Christmas (because of the tune) or at camp (because of the theme).
The Little Green Frog Song This is a fun song to do with a Cub Scout pack or den. It is full of boy humor. Make sure you get the parents to sing along also. That makes it really fun for the boys.
Ticks on a Toilet Seat Song This song goes along with yesterday's Ticks on a Toilet Seat recipe. Sing while you snack and you can fulfill Tiger Elective 6, Wolf Elective 11f, or Webelos Showman requirement 9.
Jaws Song Here's a song to go with this months aquatics theme. This is a classic camp song. There are lots of variations. If you want to ham it up even more, change your voice when singing the different verses to sound like a mama, papa, lady, etc.
Bring Back My Bunny to Me Song This song is from the old program helps and fits in well with the Abracadabra program theme . Add some actions (shown in italics) and ham it up to get the Cub Scouts involved.
Boom Chicka Boom Song The lyrics in the post are the ones we used at the pack meeting. Feel free to add your own variations in the comments.
